Custom Cakes

Cake & Plate are proud to create your unique and custom designed cakes and cupcakes.  Every celebration is special and we are excited to work with you to design a cake that compliments your occasion.  

Every cake is baked fresh to order and hand finished.  From 1st Birthday smash cakes, to fun themed designs and elegant tiered wedding cakes, we can turn your dream design into a freshly baked reality - and for corporate customers we can even include your logo or branding!

Cupcakes

Cupcakes provide the perfect portion of cake to celebrate or as a gift for any occasion.  All of our cupcakes are designed, created, and baked fresh on our own premises.  We offer both fondant and buttercream cupcakes in a variety of flavours and designs - and don't forget to check out our special occasion boxes for Mother's Day, Christmas, and more!

Café

The Cake & Plate Café includes both indoor and outdoor seating. Pick a table for two for an intimate coffee date or a larger table for a gathering of friends. 

A variety of cupcakes, desserts, and light meals are available every day with a delicious selection of Tea Tonic Teas and an exceptional barista-made coffee - and your little ones can take advantage of our 'Build Your Own Cupcakes' for a truly fun one-off experience.

Classes & Events

Cake & Plate frequently hold cake and cupcake decorating classes aimed at teaching everyone from beginners (of all ages!) to advanced decorators and designers, with classes in both fondant and buttercream design.  Learn all the tips and techniques you need to create beautiful cakes for friends and family.  As well as our own in-house teachers we often host classes with such well-known designers as Krumbs by Kellie and Flyaway Pineapple.

Kids classes are held every school break, with a new theme each holiday period.  

Kids Parties

A birthday party at Cake & Plate is one you’ll always remember!  Cake & Plate host birthday parties for guests aged 5 to 15 years old.  We have a number of options with a variety of themes to suit a range of ages and interests.

Parties are hosted on selected Saturdays throughout the year.

High Teas

Enjoy a wonderful High Tea with friends or family in our sweet and pretty location at Niagara Park.  Be served by our friendly staff inside where it's cozy, or in our lovely courtyard on a sunny day. We welcome large groups for occasions like Bridal or Baby Showers, Birthdays, or other group celebrations... or just because you deserve it!
